Pelmenit liemessä
Russian damplings in the broth

Tarvitset seuraavat einekset: Imatralaisen Elvaco valmistajan Pelmenejä 500G. Elvaco on tietääkseni ainoa valmistaja Suomessa, joka tekee pelmenit venäläisittäin. Suosittelen!
You need to find these:
- Deliciest Pelmeni 500g
- Sour cream
- Black pepper
- Salt
- Bay leafs
- Dill
- Tarragon
- Garlic
- Carrot
- Meat broth cube

Amount of the spices to your taste, but plenty is good!

First add the spices to the hot water to dissolve in the oil-less water.

Peel carrot and garlic. Peel the carrot for sure, because boiled peels won’t taste good.

Actually, half of the carrot is enough. Eat the rest.

Add garlic and carrot to the broth. Allow them to moisten for a moment in oil-less water.

Chop the meat broth cube and add to the broth.

Let the broth boil just before adding the dumplings, as the dumplings cool the broth effectively.

Add frozen dumplings!

Set the timer for 8 minutes to avoid losing yourself in front of the TV.

Stir occasionally to prevent the dumplings from sticking to the bottom or to each other.

However, don’t follow the timer, as the dumplings are ready when at least half of them has risen.

Serve with sour cream 😉 Bon appetite!
